Spotlight on the Local 776 Staff

When you call the Union Hall to talk to your Business Agent, ask a question about dues, or just inquire about Local 776, have you ever wondered who the person is on the other end of the line? Local 776 has a dedicated staff that keeps Local 776 running like a well-oiled machine. The Next time you call here’s whom you could be speaking to:

Mandy Myers: Administrative Assistant to the President

Mandy started her career with Teamsters in 2005 as a  Titan Operator. Mandy originally worked at the York  Union Hall, then transferred to the Harrisburg Hall before the move to Camp Hill. Mandy is the  Administrative Assistant to the Local Union President,  Spencer Dearth. Some of her extended duties as the Administrative Assistant to the President include filing the appropriate paperwork for all contracts, preparing for Union functions, and supporting Business Agents and Office Staff. She also serves as the secretary for the UPS Central PA grievance committee, with responsibilities including docketing cases and preparing agendas for hearings.

Kim Putiri: Titan Operator

Last year's merger with Teamsters Local 992 added Kim Putiri to the Local 776 staff. Kim is currently staffing the Hagerstown Union Hall. She began her Teamster Career in 2022, performing all of the office functions for Local 992. Kim had more than 20 years of experience as an administrative assistant before joining the Teamsters.

Nancy Russell: Titan Operator

Nancy began her career with Local 776 in May 2019. No stranger to the Union environment, Nancy previously worked for Pleasant Acres Nursing Home. Along with Kim and Kristen, she is responsible for ensuring that monthly dues are billed to the various employers and that the amounts received from employers are posted to each member's account. Nancy is usually found working at the York Union Hall, transferring to the Camp Hill Hall if needed.

Teri Silar: Bookkeeper

Teri started her Teamster Career in January 2015 and is in charge of the Local's bookkeeping functions. Teri is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxes, and any other function pertaining to The Local's finances.

Kristen Starner: Titan Operator

Kristen joined the office staff at the Union Hall in Camp Hill in March, 2026. As a Titan Operator, she is responsible for ensuring that monthly dues billing to the various employers and the posting of monthly dues received from employers to each member's account are up to date.

Jamie Swope: Administrative Assistant

Jamie began her Teamster career in March 2015. She serves as the primary receptionist, answering and routing incoming phone calls for our members. Her responsibilities include processing all incoming and outgoing mail, performing general office functions such as filing and record maintenance, and providing support wherever needed within the office. Jamie also prepares, types, and mails dispositions as part of her administrative duties.

Gary Young: Buildings and Grounds Maintenance

Gary has been working for Local 776 since 2005. Gary is responsible for all maintenance of the Union Halls, performing scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs as needed. Throughout the year, Gary also maintains the grounds at both locations.
