During the 2018-2019 National Contract Negotiations between the Teamsters Union and YRC the Union negotiated a card check agreement into the new contract to address non-union YRC employees.  After ratification of the new collective bargaining agreement in May of 2019 the Local Union met with and got overwhelming support and signed authorization cards from the clerks at the Carlisle Terminal.  On January 17, 2020, Local 776 notified YRC of the Unions majority status of the clerks.  On February 12, 2020, an independent party verified the signed authorization cards from Local 776.  After the cards were verified, all improvements for the clerks within the contract were retro-active to January 17, 2020.
