Good Morning,
In response to calls from the former Yellow members regarding the most recent mailing, I wanted to clarify a few things.
The mailing was sent to around 4,600 people and only those that need to reconcile their claims within the bankruptcy court received the mailing. If they did not receive a letter, they did not need to; there is nothing to do and they are still included on our claim it is just for those that are shown to have several claims within the court or if there is a discrepancy on the amount they’ve listed. If members would like to know what amount we filed for on their behalf they can follow the steps below to view our submitted claims.

Search under “Creditor” for “TNFINC”
The National Negotiating Committee filed four separate claims, one for each of the employers, on behalf of those members active at the time of their closure. Below is also a list of the claim numbers.
CLAIM #5336 IBT AND TNFINC New Penn Motor Express LLC
CLIAM #5337 IBT AND TNFINC USF Reddaway Inc
CLAIM #5338 IBT AND TNFINC USF Holland LLC
CLAIM #5400 IBT AND TNFINC YRC Inc
Within each of the claims, it includes 4 claims for each of the operating companies – 1.) WARN Act; 2.) Vacation Pay; 3.) Sick Pay; and 4.) State WARN Act. Members can find what we have for them individually within the documents which are separated by the “claim”, then sorted by Local Union and then alphabetically by last name, first name.
If they filed their own individual claim they will be allowed to search by their name under “Creditor” but it should be noted they will only be entitled to one claim in the bankruptcy court.
There are no updates at this time. The claims are all still within the bankruptcy court with no payment scheduled at this time; this includes the WARN Act and any other sick or vacation pay they may be entitled to.
