As many of you are aware, a major rain and wind storm passed through Central PA and surrounding areas on July 4th. Like many in the area, the Camp Hill Union Hall sustained significant damage. A portion of the Union Hall's roof was torn off, allowing water to flood the building.
On Sunday, after discovering the damage, all Officers and Agents immediately began working as a team, as Teamsters do, to protect the Hall and its contents from further damage, knowing rain was expected throughout the upcoming week.

The roofing material can be seen at the rear of the picture, peeled back, exposing the roofing panels
The Business Agents whose offices are in the affected area of the Union Hall have been temporarily assigned to the York and Hagerstown Union Halls, along with the Organizing Department. By Monday morning, despite the temporary move, all affected had settled into their temporary offices and were serving their respective members. The Camp Hill Union Hall is open with limited capabilities. The Union Halls in York and Hagerstown were unaffected by the storm.
Our insurance company has been on site, working at a feverish pace with cleanup specialists and contractors to begin restoring the building to its previous condition.
Presently, all incoming calls are routed through the York office and forwarded to the appropriate person. In the interim, members can contact their Business Agent via email if they do not have their Business Agent's cell number. Email addresses can be found on the Local Union website under "Member Resources/Officers and Agents or by following the link below:
