Workers' Day Memorial (April 28) is an annual day of remembrance and action that honors workers killed on the job or in the line of duty. For 2025, we had eight (8) deaths. Seven (7) in York County and one (1) in Adams County. Four of those deaths were Police Officers, killed in the line of duty.
On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the York/Adams Labor Council will host the 2026 Workers Day Memorial at the Wyndham Gardens East Venue in York, Pa. The event starts at 9:00 a.m. A breakfast will be held with a ceremony to honor those who perished afterward.
