As many of you know, our Camp Hill Union Hall was significantly damaged by a storm on July 5. On behalf of the Officers, Business Agents, and office staff, I’d like to give sincere thanks to everyone who has reached out to help with the cleanup and repairs.
I want to update the membership that all repairs related to the roof damage are now complete, including a new roof over the damaged section. The restoration work addressed the immediate structural and operational issues caused by the storm and was needed to prevent further damage and protect union assets.

We are also pleased to report that discussions with our insurance company regarding a settlement are currently underway and near finalization. Once the settlement process is finalized, additional repair and improvement projects will begin. Our priority will be to repair and upgrade the HVAC and ventilation systems throughout the affected sections of the Hall.
Following the HVAC and ventilation project, work will begin in the area where the PA Conference of Teamsters is located. This portion of the project will focus on restoring and improving the affected workspace for our friends at the PA Conference. Additional attention will then be directed to the Business Agent offices that sustained damage during the storm. These repairs will ensure that all affected office areas are fully restored, improved in some areas, and functional again.

We remain committed to maintaining a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for our members. The Executive Board will continue to monitor progress and oversee all work. I will provide additional updates as projects move forward and timelines become available. Thank you for your continued support, patience, and commitment to our Local Union.
Fraternally,

Spencer B. Dearth
President, Teamsters Local 776
