Although no longer members of a bargaining unit, we are forever Teamsters.
Youth may be fleeting, but commitment to the principles that embody organized labor: Unity, Pride, and Strength, is not. The benefits enjoyed by Teamsters today in large part can be measured by the sacrifices made by the Teamsters of yesterday. Each successive generation of union members is challenged to build upon the accomplishments of its forbears. Our predecessors enthusiastically supported our efforts. We in turn pledge to do all in our power to assist our brothers and sisters currently united in pursuit of improved wages and working conditions.
