On Saturday, July 1, 2023, we held a press conference announcing that there had been great progress at the negotiating table but told UPS that we must receive a fair and equitable contract proposal by no later than July 5th.
The General Executive Board of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters has passed a resolution calling on elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels to prove their support for UPS Teamsters.
The resolution demands that elected officials, including U.S. senators and representatives, commit to not intervening in the event of a lawful strike and to stay out of the bargaining process between the Teamsters and UPS. Tell your Representatives and Senators to join the growing list of public officials who are choosing to stand beside our hardworking brothers and sisters.
