The annual meeting of the PA Conference of Teamsters was held April 29, 30 and May 1, 2019 in Hershey, PA. With Hershey being in Local 776’s jurisdiction our Local was the host Local.

The PA Conference of Teamsters is comprised of Local Unions affiliated with Joint Council 40 and Joint Council 53; collectively over 95,000 Teamsters strong.

Many union officials and elected officials addressed the attendees on the importance of staying the course and actively fighting all forms of anti-union legislation. Numerous dignitaries, both elected and appointed, attended the reception held in the evening of the opening day of the Annual Meeting at The Hotel Hershey. Those in attendance included congressmen, legislators, senators, cabinet members, judges and the heads of various state and federal agencies. 

Local 776 President Ed Thompson gave the opening remarks, addresses the delegates to the PA Conference of Teamsters, welcoming all of our Teamster Brothers and Sisters from Pennsylvania and neighboring states.
