If you haven’t already done so please take a moment to register as a Local 776 member or retiree.
In addition to the James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarships awarded by the IBT, Local 776 has additional scholarships available for qualifying dependents of Local 776 members. Presently Local 776 has an established scholarship fund at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) for either full or part-time students. Additionally Local 776 offers scholarships made possible by the Locals fund raising events and are announced in May. This years Local 776 Scholarship finalists are:
Megan Campbell – Daughter of Jenny Campbell (Perry County Court Appointed)
Elizabeth Kohr – Daughter of Jeffrey Kohr (Hershey Medical Center)
Julia Raker – Daughter of Bruce Raker (ABF Freight)
Commented Local President Ed Thompson “These scholarships are another example of our commitment to provide the highest level of service to our members and their families. I encourage all members to participate”.
