A MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT ED THOMPSON
If you haven’t already done so please take a moment to register as a Local 776 member or retiree.
Local 776 conducted a life-saving skills training seminar on January 9, 2016. With training provided by One Heartbeat Away, LLC all of the participants were trained and certified in CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) and choking emergencies.
At the conclusion Local President Ed Thompson summed it up by commenting: “Continuing with our commitment to train the Local’s Stewards thirty-one of our Teamsters now have the skills to assist and intervene when confronted with an emergency situation whether on the job, at home, or out in public. I’d like to thank the Stewards who came out today to participate in this important session.”
